     Arthur W. Brill
 
Arthur W. Brill concentrates on estate and income tax planning, including charitable trusts and foundations, as well as financial, investment and business matters. In addition to the practice of law, he has been involved in a number of venture capital, finance, real estate, oil and gas, and other investments in several different capacities, including founder, principal, officer, counsel and advisor.

For twenty-five years, Mr. Brill has been involved with the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research. Currently, he is a member of the Board of Directors and Secretary of the Institute; he also serves on its Investment Committee and Development Committee. He is currently the Chair of the Institute's Annual Fund. Mr. Brill is experienced in negotiations, analysis, legal representation and agreements involving many spheres of interest, including business, academia, foundations, venture capital and finance. He is also a member of the Professional Advisory Council for Planned Giving at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and was formerly a trustee of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Foundation and Chairman of its Finance Committee.

He received a B.A. from Cornell University, and his J.D. from Harvard Law School. He was the recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship to study tax reform in conjunction with a program of the Harvard University Development Advisory Service and U.S. Government representatives from the State Department and the IRS, at the Ministry of Finance, Bogota, Colombia.
