Aaron Gaynor to Speak at the 2025 Federation of Exchange Accommodators Annual Conference

Roberts & Holland’s Aaron S. Gaynor is speaking at the 2025 Federation of Exchange Accommodators Annual Conference, September 15-17 in Atlanta, Georgia. He is moderating the General Session “In the Matter of Hadar & Shomron: A New Day for Drop and Swaps in NY?” on September 16 at 10:45 am.

The Hadar & Shomron case is the first I.R.C. § 1031 exchange “drop and swap” case that was litigated to an opinion in New York’s tax court. Aaron will be joined by the attorneys who successfully represented the taxpayers in the case, who will share their insights into the matter and what it means for drop and swaps going forward in New York.
